Public Notice: Discolored Water in West Haven Area
Bona Vista Water Improvement District is aware of reports of discolored water in the West Haven area. Our crews are actively addressing the issue and working to flush the lines to remove sediment.
Please note that the water remains safe to drink. However, affected residents are advised to avoid using hot water or doing laundry until the water runs clear, as discolored water can stain laundry and may allow sediment to enter your water heater.
If you are still experiencing discolored water after flushing your cold water lines, please call our office at 801-621-0474.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - Bona Vista will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 15th at 6:30 p.m. at 2020 West 1300 North, Farr West, Utah 84404.
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Bona Vista Water Improvement District will hold a public hearing on the FY 2026 Budget which is tentatively adopted; and give interested persons in attendance an opportunity to be heard on the estimates of revenues and expenditures or any item in the budget. The Public Hearing will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. The location of the Hearing will be Bona Vista Water Improvement District’s Office which is located at 2020 W 1300 N, Farr West, Utah.

Bona Vista Water Public Notice: Winterize Outdoor Plumbing – October 2025
As temperatures begin to drop, residents are reminded to remove all hoses from hose bibs and winterize backflow prevention devices during the month of October 2025.
Taking these precautions helps prevent freezing, pipe damage, and costly repairs.
