West Harrisville Road Water Line Project

West Harrisville Road Water Line Project: From the Railroad to HWY 89.
The project consists of plugging and abandoning the existing 6" water line and installing
approximately 2540 LF of DR18 PVC C900 Pipe and fittings in Harrisville City in Weber County. Pipe sizes include 8", 10" and 12".
Notice to Affected Residents:
Construction on the West Harrisville Road Project is set to begin the second week of August 2025 and is expected to be completed by December 1, 2025. During this time, our crews will be replacing the main water line and associated service laterals along West Harrisville Road.
We understand that construction projects can be disruptive, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these essential upgrades. Please be advised of the following:
- Temporary Water Service Disruptions: Some homes and businesses may experience temporary water Barring any unforeseen emergencies, we will provide at least 24 hours' advance notice to those affected.
- Increased Construction Activity: You can expect to see heavy construction equipment and increased traffic in the area during the course of the Please use caution when traveling through the construction zone.
- Possible Water Discoloration: During construction, you may notice temporary discoloration of your water due to minerals and sediment being disturbed in the water line This is normal and should clear up shortly after service is restored. Please avoid using hot water during periods of discoloration, as this may draw sediment into your water heater. Additionally, do not wash white or light-colored laundry until the water runs clear to avoid potential staining.
These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to improve the reliability and safety of your water service. We are working diligently to complete this project efficiently and with as little inconvenience as possible.
